Found a great museum on Route 66 in Clinton, Oklahoma. This is where these pictures are from. We weren't ready for the 87degree day. Got the car some more freon to help with cooling us. Great improvement.
Then we made it to Adrian, Texas the mid way point on this trip.
We crossed into New Mexico by sundown. Found great lodging in Tucumcari and really enjoyed our supper at Del Ray's, a place on Route 66 that's been in business for over 50 years.
